Third Sector Lancashire
This is a website developed for a new consortium for voluntary sector organisations in Lancashire. The site is built in Drupal with Civicrm and has a number of features designed to provide an online networking environment to parallel the real World networking promoted by the consortium.
The home page utilises random image swapping from a bank of images that can be added by site users and also uses a zen 960 grid to give an information portal style where there is a rapid turnover of useful information.

An important aspect of the site is that it support a number of groups called Participation network groups and these are mirrored on the website using the organic groups model. This makes it possible to organise content for particular groups, and also allows site users to become group members and contribute.

The upper part of the groups page provides an introduction to the group and the lower blocks feature group-specific content. In this example, the Group Members list is generated direct from Civicrm, and the Meeting papers is a list of uploaded files added with the Webfm module.
In addition to group functions the site uses the Drupal framework to provided added functionality such as member signups with Civicrm, and event management using a combination of Civievent and the Drupal date and calenedaring modules.

As with any Drupal site, the possibilities for expansion of content and features is limitless so the site can build and adapt as the consortium grows and adjusts its business and communication systems.
