Social Enterprise Mark
Electroville has been awarded the Social Enterprise Mark.

The Mark identifies businesses that meet defined criteria for social enterprise. Thus it offers consumers an instantly recognisable logo that represents enterprises working for social and environmental aims, trading to benefit people and the planet.
But the Mark is more than just a logo. It is also access to a network of social enterprises across the UK.
There are 62,000 social enterprises in the UK contributing £24bn to the UK economy and employing around 800,000 people. Ethical buying has grown considerably in the past decade, and the recession has not slowed it down – there is a clear appetite for people to connect with businesses doing more than just ‘the usual.’
Electroville is therefore proud to be one of the first organisations to receive the mark.
The picture shows Simon Duncan, our Deputy CEO at Electroville, receiving the Mark certificate from Lucy Findlay, the Chief Executive of RISE, the Regional Social Enterprise Organisation in the South West which has pioneered the Mark.
The ceremony took place at Doncaster Trades Centre on May 27th 2010 and was organised by Social Enterprise Yorkshire & Humber (SEYH) who kindly provided the picture.
