The starting point is the mission of the organisation. We consider that from the point of view of the clients, the funders and ongoing learning and improvement – so that we can identify the key internal processes at which you must excel to deliver the mission effectively.
Once those are identified, we can consider how ICT can be applied to make them more effective. One key technological area nowadays is social media but we consider all forms of ICT.
Using ICT inevitably leads to change and that is threatening for staff and other stakeholders. Therefore the process deals with how their commitment can be achieved.
