You are not alone. Most organisations feel they can organise their internal communications better by some form of electronic means. But it not easy as just buying a package and saying "Hey Presto!"
It usually goes hand-in-hand with some organisational development. The resulting changes often mean that staff and volunteers can find the process threatening and there is a need for extensive consultation and training.
The software on offer can also be very confusing. Should it be MS Access, Filemaker Pro or some Contact Relationship Management (CRM) program such as Act!, Dynamics or Business Contact Manager? Or should we link it to the website using something like CiviCRM?
